Hi,

  I hope you are enjoying your summer vacation.   I have been busy working around the house, biking, boating, and playing with my two kids, Austin and Emma.  I am also going to be busy getting our classroom ready for you.  We will have a lot of fun and will be learning many new things in 1^st grade.

 

 I can’t wait to meet you on the first day of school, Wednesday. Sept. 8^th. 

 

Here is the supply list so you can have everything you will need on the 1^st day of school. Don’t forget to put your name on things you are going to bring to school.

   McNamara Elementary School FIRST GRADE Supplies

·        Box of 24 crayons (no larger boxes)

·        Pencils – sharpened

·        2 glue sticks

·        Pointed scissors

·        School supply box

·        Pocket folder with pockets at the bottom (1 red, 1 yellow, 1 blue, 1 of your choice)

·        Big box of tissues

·        White cotton sock for erasing white board

·        Eraser (large “pink pet” type)

·        Pencil sharpener (enclosed to hold pencil shavings)

·        2 Low odor dry erase markers

·        Smock for art class
