Baker partners with NY DMV - Baker HS students fifteen years of age or older now have the option of taking the DMV’s learner’s permit test online at Baker High School. Students can sign up for the test in the Career Resource Center, where the test will be administered.
Students take the test online and are notified immediately whether they've passed or need to schedule a re-test. Those passing are issued a receipt from the staff member who is administering the test. Students take this receipt, along with the DMV's paperwork, to the DMV to receive a driving permit. There is no charge to take the test at the school. Students will pay any DMV fees involved to the DMV when they're issued a driving permit.
If you have any questions regarding the learner's permit test at the high school, please call Principal Joseph DeBarbieri at 638-6008
