 BAKER PARENTS FORM PTSA TO SUPPORT ALL NIGHT CELEBRATION
The Baker Parent Group, founders of Keep the Ball Rolling (KBR), An After the Senior Ball Event for Baldwinsville Seniors, has joined the other schools in the BSCD and formed a PTSA. The Baker PTSA held its first membership meeting on Wednesday, February 10, 2010. Regular membership meetings are held at 6 pm in the Baker Library on the third Wednesday of the month and all parents and teachers are invited to attend. Membership is only $5. The primary mission of the Baker PTSA is to support the KBR celebration on May 29th.
While KBR’s focus is on providing seniors a night of outrageous fun, its more serious purpose is to give seniors a way to celebrate without alcohol, drugs, and driving, thus helping to prevent tragic accidents on Senior Ball night. Parents, school leaders, and community members feel if they prevent just one serious injury or death to a student they can call the celebration a SUCCESS!
