Baker High School’s vocal jazz ensemble, Company B, will perform in a concert to benefit the Kyle Schneider Memorial Scholarship Fund on Saturday, May 5 at 7:00 p.m. in the First Presbyterian Church Education Center, located at 64 Oswego Street in the Village of Baldwinsville. Also performing will be local a cappella group QuintEssence, which has started the scholarship fund.
There is no set admission charge. Donations will be accepted for the scholarship fund. The scholarship will be awarded to a Baldwinsville senior at Baker High School’s annual Moving Up Day ceremony on May 25.
Cpl. Kyle R. Schneider, a 2006 graduate of Baker High School, was killed in action in Afghanistan in June 2011 while serving his country as a Marine.
