Eight Baker High School students have been selected to attend the prestigious 2012 NYSSMA All-State Music Conference, scheduled for November 29 to December 2 in Rochester, NY. Students were selected based on a rigorous audition process conducted across the state in the spring.

The following students have been invited to perform at the conference:

Catherine Beamish – Oboe, Symphonic Band

Bridget Conway – Soprano, Mixed Chorus

Amanda Funiciello – Soprano, Mixed Chorus

Julianna Grabowski – Alto, Women’s Chorus

David Magowan – Bass, Mixed Chorus

Molly Makowiec – Alto, Mixed Chorus

Brendan O’Toole – Bass, Mixed Chorus

Michael Stapleton – Bass, Mixed Chorus

Selected as alternates for the conference are:

Joseph Honsinger – Bass, Chorus

Antonio Martinez – Cello, Orchestra

Eve Mercer – Soprano, Chorus

Maggie Walsh – Soprano, Chorus
