The district is beginning the development process for the 2013-2014 budget and is seeking community and staff input. The district is looking for volunteers to serve on several community budget advisory committees that will meet in November and December to review specific areas of the budget and to provide input on the budget components as well as recommendations for cost savings prior to the budget components being presented to the Board of Education for review.

The following budget component committees have been established:

· Transportation

· Athletics

· Special Education

· Facilities

· Instructional/Technology

Committee members will meet with the administrators responsible for these budget components.
