9/2012-Presentation on Parent-Teacher Communication


The Baldwinsville Central School District will present, “Bullying at School and Beyond,” November 13, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Durgee Jr. High School cafeteria. The presentation is free and open to all parents and community members.

 

School officials, school resource officers and the district’s attorney will discuss:

· Bullying legislation;

· The district’s procedures for investigating complaints about bullying;

· How students can report bullying;

· Definitions of bullying;

· What’s happening in Baldwinsville’s schools; and

· What our schools are doing to educate students about bullying.

This presentation will address the steps the district is taking to implement the state’s Dignity for All Students Act as well as provide parents with an overview of what bullying means today.
