9/2012-Presentation on Parent-Teacher Communication

The 2013 U.S. Army All-American Bowl Selection Tour visited Baker High School on October 17 to invite pit drummer Ryan Tighe to join the U.S. Army All-American Marching Band. Tighe, a senior and a member of the Baldwinsville Marching Band, received his invitation to join the U.S. Army All-American Marching Band and his honorary jacket before his fellow band members, classmates, and family during a music department assembly in the school auditorium.

By becoming an Army All-American band member, Tighe joins an elite group. This prestigious ensemble only selects 125 students from thousands of applications each year. The All-American Marching Band performs at halftime of the nationally-broadcasted U.S. Army All-American Bowl. The 2013 U.S. Army All-American Bowl is set for January 5, 2013 at the Alamodome in San Antonio and is scheduled to be televised live on NBC at 12:00 p.m.
