District to Re-Open Stadium with Ribbon Cutting September 9
On the evening of Friday, September 9, the Baldwinsville Central School District will officially reopen Pelcher-Arcaro Stadium with a ceremonial ribbon-cutting at 5:30 p.m. on the stadium’s new artificial turf field. The stadium was closed over the summer months in order to install the new field as well as new ADA compliant bleachers, a new press box, new energy-efficient lights, and a new long jump and triple jump event area. The ribbon cutting will kick-off the varsity football game vs. West Genesee. Admission is $1 for students and $2 for adults. Join the District for this exciting evening!
District Seeks Volunteers for Budget Advisory Committees
The Baldwinsville Central School District is beginning the development process for its 2017-2018 budget and is seeking community input through budget advisory committees. The District is looking for volunteers to serve on these committees to review specific areas of the budget and to provide input on the budget components as well as recommendations for cost savings prior to the budget components being presented to the Board of Education for review. Sixty-five Students Earn AP Scholar Awards
Sixty-five students from the Baldwinsville Central School District have earned AP Scholar Awards in recognition of their achievements on the college-level Advanced Placement Program Exams. Students took AP Exams in May after finishing their studies in college-level courses at Baker High School. READ MORE
