Baldwinsville Named A Best Community For Music Ed for 8th Year
 
The NAMM Foundation has recognized the Baldwinsville Central School District for its outstanding commitment to music education with a Best Communities for Music Education (BCME) designation. This is the eighth consecutive year that the District has received the designation. The District joins 527 school districts across the country receiving the prestigious distinction in 2017. Baker Honor Society Presents Big Donation to Vera House
The Baker High School chapter of the National Honor Society presented representatives from Vera House with a check for $7865.72 on April 4! The honor society raised the money with a variety of fund raisers held throughout the school year, providing Vera House with a donation that’s the biggest from any school, university or college in the area this school year!
 
District Receives Safety Award
The Utica National Insurance Group has awarded the Baldwinsville Central School District the 2017 School Safety Excellence Award in recognition of the District’s efforts to provide its students, staff and visitors with a safe environment. The District received the award at the Titanium with Honors level, the highest distinction, and $500 to use to further its safety efforts.

McNamara Library Media Specialist is CNYRIC's Featured Teacher
McNamara Elementary School Library Media Specialist Justin Ashworth has been selected as CNYRIC's "Featured Teacher" for the month of April. Mr. Ashworth has earned this honor due to his efforts in leveraging instructional technology to provide authentic learning experiences for the students of McNamara Elementary School. You can read more about Mr. Ashworth at the following link: READ MORE

EVENTS CALENDAR
For the month of April, elementary students will have artwork on display at the Baldwinsville Public Library and at Beaver Lake Nature Center.

ATTENTION PARENTS:
All NYS students entering 7th, 8th and 12th grade in September 2017 must have the meningococcal vaccine. Without it they can't start school. You can find more information on the vaccine at this link: Meningitis Vaccine
