Below you'll find a list of apps that will make your life as a Durgee student easier! All apps are free, and they are available on both iOS and Android platforms.

Teachers can send or schedule reminders, motivational messages, photos or documents directly to students' and parents' phones. Interactions are safe because phone numbers are always kept private and messages are one-way only.
Audible  Audible Not enough time for all the books you want to enjoy? Download the app by Audible, an Amazon company, to listen to books on the go. You can borrow audio books from the Durgee library using this app. We have all the titles you’ll read in class. 
Overdrive Overdrive Borrow eBooks, audiobooks, and streaming video from the school and public library using OverDrive on your device. 
Kahoot! Kahoot! Kahoot! is a popular game-based learning platform. Feel free to add the app to your own device for in-class play. 
Flashcards+ Flashcards+ Flashcards+ is a fast, fun, and free way to review your flashcards, or access millions of existing flashcard decks. Who needs paper notecards?!? Create & study flashcards without the hassle of writing them out by hand. No time to make your own deck? Save time by using one of the millions of decks made by other students. 
Socrative Student Socrative Student Students share their understanding by answering formative assessment questions in a variety of formats: quizzes, quick question polls, exit tickets and space races. Once students launch the Socrative Student App, they'll be prompted to join the teacher's room via the teacher's unique code. No student accounts necessary
Nearpod Nearpod If your teacher is embracing the flipped classroom concept, you'll want to download Nearpod to access lessons on your mobile device. 
Khan Academy Khan Academy Khan Academy allows you to learn almost anything for free by accessing over 4,200 videos and articles. It covers a massive number of topics, including math and science. Can’t remember how your teacher did something? Need a different perspective? Review the concept on Khan Academy.
