District Fall Teams are State Ranked
Congratulations to our fall sports teams! Many of them are state-ranked this week, as follows:

Football - 17th, Class AA
Field Hockey - 10th in North East Region
Boys Cross Country - 9th, Class A
Girls Cross Country - 18th, Class A
Boys Soccer - 7th, Class AA
Girls Soccer - 11th, Class AA

Baker Students Selected for Prestigious State Music Conference

Seven Baker High School students have been selected to perform at the prestigious NYSSMA All-State Music Conference, November 30 to December 3, 2017 in Rochester, NY. Thousands of high school students auditioned for this honor last spring at solo and ensemble festivals around the state.
 
The following students will represent Baldwinsville at the conference:

Helping Your Teen Thrive: A Mini-Conference for all Parents
All district parents are invited to attend the "Helping Your Teen Thrive: A health & wellness mini-conference" on Wednesday, October 18 at 6:00 p.m. in the Baker High School auditorium. Julie Smith, a nationally recognized expert on teen safety in a digital environment, will provide the keynote. Afterwards, parents will select from a wide variety of workshops presented by community members on topics including stress reduction in teens, monitoring your child's mental health, the opioid epidemic, and nutrition for athletes, among others.
