High School Opens Student-Run Credit Union
On Tuesday, January 9, 2018, Baker High School officially opened its student-run branch of Edge Federal Credit Union (EFCU) with a ribbon cutting ceremony and a ceremonial first deposit by two elementary students.
 
The Baker branch is an expansion of the district’s partnership with the credit union. The district’s elementary schools have been participating in Edge’s Elementary Cub Saver program in which students learn the importance of savings and can track their accounts. READ MORE HERE

Baker All County Orchestra students Thirty-Nine Baker Students to Perform in All-County Music Fest
Thirty-nine Baker High School students have been selected to perform in the Senior High All-County Music Festival, to be held this weekend,  January 12 and 13, in Liverpool. READ MORE HERE
 
 
Over 30 Students Honored With Scholastic Art Awards
Over 30 Baldwinsville students received awards in the 2018 Central New York Scholastic Art Competition, sponsored by the M&T Charitable Foundation. Their artwork was selected from over 5,000 pieces submitted by students in the CNY region. Winning pieces will be on display at the Whitney Applied Technology Center at Onondaga Community College until March 2. You can read the list of B'ville winners names HERE.

 
Baker Senior Receives Believe to Achieve Award
Congratulations to girls soccer player Gabrielle Piontkowski! Syracuse Sports Corporation has awarded her the Believe to Achieve Award for the Individual Female Athlete! She was recognized for her part in the Baldwinsville girls varsity soccer team winning the 2017 NYSPHSAA State Championship, and she is a girls soccer All-American.
