BCSF Phone-a-thon Scheduled for March 4 & 11
Phones will be ringing in the Baldwinsville area the evenings of March 4 and 11 when more than 100 Baker High School students will call residents during the annual Baldwinsville Community Scholarship Foundation's (BCSF) Dollars for Scholars Phone-a-thon, scheduled for 5 – 8 p.m. both Sundays.
 
The BCSF awards more than $100,000 to Baldwinsville high school seniors due to the support and generosity of the Baldwinsville community.
 
 
Student to Perform with Prestigious Orchestra This Summer
Parker Bruce, a junior at Baker High School, has been invited to perform with the NYO2, a program of the Weill Music Institute of Carnegie Hall. Selection for the orchestra is a significant honor and achievement. Students complete an intensive two-week residency working with top players from American orchestras. Students also spend a week in Miami Beach with the New World Symphony before performing in a final concert at Carnegie Hall.

Durgee Library is National School Library Program of the Year Finalist
The American Association of School Librarians (AASL) has named the Durgee Junior High School library a 2018 National School Library Program of the Year finalist.

2018-19 Anticipated Instructional Vacancies in BCSD

DEADLINE FOR OUT OF DISTRICT TRANSPORTATION REQUESTS FOR 2018-19

If your child will be attending a private or parochial school for 2018-19, please submit a transportation request form by April 1. A form MUST be submitted every year.

BCSD presents
Acclaimed Young Adult Author Jeffrey Zentner

for a discussion of his debut novel, "The Serpent King," and the many mental health issues surrounding the text. This mental health event will also be a community-wide read and discussion of the book.
