Baker Robotics Team Named State Champion
Congratulations to the members of Baker High School’s robotics team, 7327A, Aries, for winning the Engineering Division Champion title at the New York State VEX Robotics Championship, held March 10 at the SRC Arena. Members of the team are Griffin Seifritz, Sean Locke, Tom Grindle, Tyler Miller, Damyon Maw-Coe and Dave Teska. Their win qualifies the team to compete at the world finals that will be held in Louisville, Kentucky in April.
 
A Baldwinsville technology teacher was also honored at the state competition. Matt Hudson, the advisor of the high school’s robotics club, was named the New York State VEX Teacher of the Year at the state competition.

Board Approves 2018-2019 Calendar
On March 12, the Board of Education approved the 2018-2019 academic calendar. It's posted on our website  HERE.
 
April 2, 2018 Will Be a Day of School for Grades K-12
In order to meet minimum student attendance requirements for state aid for 2017-18, school will be in session for grades K-12 on April 2, 2018. The day had originally been scheduled as a flex day. The district has used all of its allotted snow days for 2017-18.
