Having fun collaborating in the library
Dash goes to 1st Grade
Our Library/Media staff bringing DASH into the classroom!
Dash & Dot are characters that ignite curiosity and confidence while providing fun ways of learning the essential skills of collaboration, communication, and digital literacy.
This project will take shape within our elementary school library, which ensures that students in grades kindergarten through 5th grade will have the opportunity to work as part of a guided team learning basic coding as they collaboratively develop and build directional routes, develop and create one of a kind computer games, and engage in trial and error investigation with their peers using the dynamic Dash Robots.
Lesson plans developed for the use of these robotics will enhance our current curriculum using coding, a language of the 21st Century, team collaboration; a "soft" skill, as well as good old fashioned FUN!
