Joan Reeves Ms. Joan Reeves, President
(May 1981-June 2022)
Joan Reeves has been a member of the Board of Education since 1981. She served as Vice President for 12 years and as President for 6 years. She serves on the OCM BOCES Board of Education, is a member of the Board of Directors of the Central New York School Boards Association, a member of the Board of Directors of the Onondaga Madison School Boards Association, and is a past member of the St. Mary’s Parish Council. She is a member of the Board of Directors for Baldwinsville Little League and the Diane Reeves Memorial Park Community Committee.  In 2015, Joan was awarded the Everett R. Dyer Award for Distinguished Service from the New York State School Boards Association. This is the association's highest honor, presented annually to a current or former school board member in recognition of extraordinary service to public education and children.
While on the Board she has served on numerous committees including but not limited to Long Range Planning, Facilities, Policy, Contract, Insurance, Transportation, Audit, Sustainability, Legislative, Negotiations, BCEPT, Strategic Planning, Mental Health and Intermunicipal. Joan is a graduate of Baldwinsville Schools as are her eight siblings and parents, Cecil and Dorothy Reeves. She attended SUNY Oneonta and Oswego majoring in Political Science and was formerly employed as an Assistant Manager for Reeves Farms and by Plainville Farms in charge of purchasing, regulatory compliance and product development. She raised three children, all who are products of Baldwinsville Schools, and has six grandchildren.

Christy Bond Ms. Christina Pavetto Bond, Vice-President
(December 2014 - June 2021)
Christy Bond has been honored to serve on the Baldwinsville Board of Education. During her tenure she has served as Vice-President and has been active on the Strategic Planning, Communication, Technology and Health Insurance committees. Christy has been pleased to support the district’s strategic plan, which emphasizes growth opportunities for all students. She has been a strong advocate for special education and resources for all students to reach their full potential. In addition, she supports the district’s investment in safety and mental health as well as responsible funding for our campus infrastructure. Christy has been pleased to support the development of the new stadium, the new auditorium, the transportation center and the incorporation of mental health clinics in our schools.  

Christy has worked in the fields of education and business for the past 30 years and is currently the Director of Population Health and Quality Improvement at Crouse Health Network. Her degrees in business and education allow her to understand both the core work of educational excellence and the business of leading a school district in a fiscally responsible way. In addition to serving on the Board of Education, Christy has served on the boards of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central New York and Leadership Greater Syracuse. She co-chaired the Youth Leadership Greater Syracuse program. Christy’s older son graduated from Ithaca College’s Park School of Communications and her younger son is a member of Baker High School's Class of 2018 and is now a student at LeMoyne College.

(July 2019 - June 2022)
Brian Dingle has been a Baldwinsville resident since 2010. He and his wife, Emily, chose Baldwinsville’s excellent schools after his military retirement. One of their children graduated in 2017 while another is a freshman at Durgee. Since moving to Baldwinsville, Mr. Dingle has been involved in youth sports. He has coached Pop Warner, Swarm Baseball, and Sting Basketball, coaching kids between the ages of 10-15. He continues to lend a helping hand whenever needed.

Mr. Dingle earned his bachelors degree in marketing and an MBA in human resources from Columbia Southern University. He currently works for the Social Security Administration.

Brian proudly served his country in the U.S. Army, retiring as a Sergeant First Class in 2009. He enlisted in 1985, serving honorably for 24 years with assignments all over the world including Iraq during Desert Shield and Desert Storm. SFC Dingle’s most impactful Army role was that of Jumpmaster, completing necessary jumps and rigorous training to ensure the safety of his fellow Airborne Soldiers in the 82nd Airborne Division. He went on to be a successful leader of recruiting stations in Virginia before moving to New York.

Mrs. Denise Falso
(July 2019 - June 2022)

Denise Falso moved to Baldwinsville with her husband, Anthony, because of the opportunities the school district could offer their three children – Enzo (11), Sergio (8) and Giuliana (5).

Denise earned a B.S. in Biology from Le Moyne College and a M.S. in Biology/Science Education at Syracuse University. She is a NYS certified teacher in Biology, General Science and Students with Disabilities. She currently teaches Life Science for the Fulton City School District, where she has worked for a total of 11 years. Past teaching experience includes Living Environment, Earth, Physical and Environmental Science at OCM BOCES. She also taught Biology Lab as an adjunct professor at Le Moyne College.  In addition to her teaching experience, Denise earned the Foundations of Financial Services Certification for Insurance Fundamentals: Life, Annuities and Health. She holds a Property/Casualty and broker’s license.

Denise has been an active volunteer in the PTA and participated in District PTA meetings. She and her husband have supported various local organizations and charities such as Baldwinsville Little League, Pop Warner, CNY Family Sports Center, St. Baldrick’s Foundation, Griffin’s Guardians and Evan’s Mission for a Cure.


Jim Goulet
Mr. James Goulet
(July 2009 - June 2021)
Jim Goulet is a lifetime resident of the Village of Baldwinsville and a 1968 graduate of Baker High School. He holds a BS in Resources Management from SUNY-ESF and teaching certification through SUNY Oswego. Jim was a science teacher in Baldwinsville for 32 years. He also coached the girls’ varsity cross country, indoor track and spring track teams for 97 seasons and has served 11 seasons as a volunteer coach following his retirement, primarily working with the modified girls track program. Jim served as league chair for cross country, indoor track and spring track and was the Section III chair for indoor track for over 30 years. In addition, Jim was the SUNY-ESF cross country coach for 3 years and acted as the head women’s track & field coach for the Central Region of the Empire State Games for 27 years.
Jim has been very involved in aquatics, having taught swimming lessons and lifesaving courses in Baldwinsville for many years for both the village and the community council. He also worked as a lifeguard for the village and for Onondaga County Parks. He has served on the SUNY ESF Alumni Board of Directors, the Village Zoning Board of Appeals, the OCC Arena and Athletic Center Task Force, and has been a 12-year member of the Friends of Beaver Lake Board of Directors.
Jim is now serving his 3rd term on the Board of Education, having actively participated on the Insurance, Facilities Planning, Wellness and Policy committees. Jim has been married to his wife, Jean, also a ’68 Baker grad, for 45 years; their two sons, Eric and Dan, are also  B’ville alums. 

Mr. Jeffrey Marier
(July 2011 - June 2020)

Since 2011, Jeff has served the BCSD in various roles including School Board President and Vice-President and as a member of the following district committees: Technology, Facilities, Policy, Communications and Health Insurance.  He is a strong advocate for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) education and remains focused on long range planning to ensure the Baldwinsville Central School District will remain a high performing school district well into the future.
Jeff lives in Baldwinsville with his wife, Susan, and his two children (Natalie and Nathan) who both currently attend the Baldwinsville Central School District. He received his M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Syracuse University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toledo (OH). He is currently an Electrical Engineer at Lockheed Martin in Liverpool, NY and serves as a member of the Onondaga County Justice Center Oversight Committee (JCOC).  Jeff is also a US Air Force Persian Gulf veteran, an Eagle Scout and a member of the Leadership Greater Syracuse Class of 2009.

Mrs. Jennifer Patruno
(July 2017 - June 2020)

Jennifer Patruno has lived in Baldwinsville since 2011 with her husband, David, and their sons, Jonathan and Christopher, who both attend the Baldwinsville Central School District.
Jen earned a B.S. in Health and Sports Science from Wake Forest University, a B.S. in Secondary Education Science in Biology from Oneonta State, and an M.S. in Health Education from Cortland State. She is a NYS certified teacher in Biology, Chemistry, General Science and Health. She taught 7th grade Life Science and high school Chemistry. 
Jen is the founder and director of Aim High Running Camp which focuses on team building, goal setting and leadership skills. She develops the safety plan, ensures NYS Department of Health regulations are followed, and manages 58 employees. She also manages the database marketing for Patruno Electric, Inc.    
Before being elected to the Board in May 2017 she was very involved with advocating in the area of curriculum. Her efforts and submitted reports resulted in the District adding NYS mandated math and science curriculum back into our classrooms. She is an advocate for educational programs that are challenging, diverse and appropriate for all students so they can reach their full potential.
Jen has volunteered for two District budget committees, sat on a science ad hoc committee, assisted with the Van Buren Elementary running club, coached her son’s basketball team in the Upward program, and is active in the Van Buren PTA. 
Jennifer Patruno

Mrs. Kim Sullivan-Dec
(July 2018 - June 2021)

Kim Sullivan-Dec grew up in Auburn, NY and moved to Baldwinsville in 1999 with her husband, Tim. They have two children, Max and Margie, who both attend the Baldwinsville school district. Kim earned a BS in both Sociology and Business Administration from SUNY Albany and a Master’s in Public Health (MPH) from the University of Rochester. Kim has worked in healthcare and human services administration for the past 22 years and is currently the Director of Upstate Community Medical at Upstate University Hospital Community Campus. She is working towards her fellowship in the American College of Healthcare Executives. Kim’s leadership roles give her valuable experience working with public and private sector organizations and community stakeholders to identify community needs, initiate change and work towards achieving positive outcomes.  
 In 2015-16, Kim helped lead an effort that resulted in a comprehensive review of the math and science curriculum that resulted in the district adding mandated curriculum back into our classrooms. She is an advocate for educational programs that meet the individualized needs of our students and understands the importance of strong partnerships with community support to ensure student success. Kim is an active volunteer for the Baldwinsville girls volleyball and boys basketball booster clubs and serves on both their boards. Kim is excited about the opportunity to apply her skills and expertise to work collaboratively with the Baldwinsville community to build upon the education excellence of our schools.      

Matthew Yager
Mr. Matthew Yager
(June 2014 - June 2020)

Matthew Yager has been engaged professionally in the higher education community for the past 20 years. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Training and Development from SUNY Oswego and a Master of Arts Degree in Student Affairs Administration from Michigan State University. He has worked with undergraduate students in an advising and counseling capacity at Michigan State University, The University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and Syracuse University. He is currently working at SU in the David B. Falk College of Sport and Human Dynamics. As an academic counselor he assists students with overall curriculum and career planning as well as helping them resolve other educational, social and emotional concerns.

From 2005 to 2009 Matt took a leave from his career to spend time with his children as a stay-at-home dad and worked part-time as a developer and webmaster for Lenovo's worldwide HR division. Matt and his wife, Dena, have been Baldwinsville residents since 2006 with their two children, who are both students in Baldwinsville schools.

Miss Jordyn Grady, Ex-Officio Student Member
(July 2019 - June 2020)
Jordyn is a senior at Baker High school where she is heavily involved in numerous clubs and programs. During her senior year, Jordyn is actively involved in Model United Nations, Class Student Council, the elementary mentoring program, and numerous upcoming projects. Jordyn has always promoted diversity and has goals to support mental health awareness. She is very invested in supporting the perspectives and opinions of each and every student in the district and is humbled to be able to represent the student body during the 2019-2020 school year.
