District Proposes Capital Safety Project - Vote Set for May 15
For years, the district has set aside part of its capital spending for security. Some of the security-oriented work and activities we have done over the last ten years include:
  •  Installation of 250 video cameras on property in and around all district buildings;
  • A new secure main entrance at Baker High School, a new, more secure entrance at Ray Middle School and a secured main entrance at Durgee Junior High School;
  •  Electronic door access control at all school buildings.
The district is proposing a capital project for safety improvements. The project will be presented to the community as a proposition on the budget vote ballot on May 15.
