Baldwinsville's Varsity Guard Brings Home Gold

On March 30, 2019, the Baldwinsville Winter Guard program competed in the annual Mid-York Color Guard Championships held at Cicero-North Syracuse High School. 
 
Baldwinsville’s Varsity Guard placed first, winning the Gold Medal in the Scholastic Class 2 (SA2) with their show titled "Judge and Jury." This is the first Gold Medal the group has won in over 15 years!  READ MORE

Student Inventions Lead to Success at Local Competition

Two teams of students from Durgee Junior High School were winners in the CNY Innovation Challenge, an engineering competition sponsored by SRC on March 30, 2019 at Onondaga Community College. READ MORE

PTAs & PTSAs Presenting Free Movie on the Effects of Screen Time - April 30

On April 30, the district's PTAs and PTSAs are co-sponsoring a free viewing of the movie "Screenagers" for the community at 7 p.m. in the Baker High School auditorium.

This is a powerful hour-long movie about teenagers and the effects of "screen" time (social media, video games, etc.) on their development and how adults can empower kids to best navigate the digital world and find balance. You can watch the movie trailer at:

Baker Student Council  Collecting Prom & Ball Dresses

Baker High School's Student Council is collecting prom and ball dresses to recycle dresses. They held a dress exchange on 4/3 and will do another in May.

If you have a dress you would like to donate, you can drop it off at the high school attendance office during school hours.
