Baldwinsville Rotary names Students of the Month

The Baldwinsville Rotary Club named its Students of the Month for November recently, according to club President Lizzy Martin.
 
Sarah Smiley and Anthony White, both seniors at C.W. Baker High School, were honored for their hard work, commitment and acts of service to others
 
At the November Student of the Months awards, Baldwinsville Rotary learned that Sarah is an athlete, a field hockey champion and she wants to study medicine.
 
“She was great at speaking in front of our group and it was a pleasure to meet her and her family,” Martin said.
 
Anthony has an ear for music of all kinds and wants to become a producer someday.
 
“He had a great energy about him and did an excellent job answering all of our members’ questions,” Martin said.
 
Students of the Month are chosen by their guidance counselor for being a young leader through teamwork and helping others.
