Students enjoy outside & snow play equipment from a community member's donation

Students in Baldwinsville elementary schools have been able to begin the 2021 year in a positive, fun way. Recently, an anonymous donation was given by a community member to purchase snow equipment for students.

At McNamara Elementary School, students have been able to enjoy new sleds, snow block makers and snowball makers outside during physical education classes. Additional new gloves, hats, and snow pants were also included to help keep students safe and warm outside. Speed stacking cups were also purchased to be used in the classroom for physical education.

“This has allowed classes to get outside and sled, pull each other on sleds out in the field, and build forts,” said Ms. Jessica Volz, a physical education teacher at McNamara Elementary School.
