Board approves amended school calendar, announces last day of school

At Monday's Board of Education meeting, the Board approved the amended 2020-2021 school calendar, which identified the last day of regular session for students.  

Last Day of Regular Session

Grades 10-12 (Baker High School) -- Wednesday, June 16 (students will report for Regents exams only after this point in time)
Grades 8-9 (Durgee Junior High School) -- Thursday, June 17 (students will report for Regents exams only after this point in time)
Grades 6-7 (Ray Middle School) -- Tuesday, June 22 *
Grades K-5 (Elementary Schools) -- Tuesday, June 22 *

* Student dismissal for Grades 6-7 will be at 10:45 a.m. and Grades K-5 will be at 11:30 a.m..

Additionally, the District will be having its annual "Go Home Early" Drill on Thursday, May 27.  All schools will be dismissing 15 minutes early to conduct the mandatory safety drill.  As a reminder, there is no school for students on Friday, May 28.
