'Raise them strong': Join us for free parent seminar with Brooks Gibbs

The District’s Mental Wellness Committee is hosting a free seminar for parents and community members featuring Brooks Gibbs, a social psychologist, award-winning presenter and resilience educator.

Mr. Gibbs teaches students how to regulate emotions and solve social problems.

The parent seminar will take place from 6 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at the auditorium of the C.W. Baker High School. The presentation is open to the public and students are also welcome to attend. 

During the school day on May 31st, 7th to 10th grade students will participate in grade-level presentations at the Baker High School Auditorium led by Mr. Gibbs.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month and our District is taking the month to raise awareness, de-stigmatize, and take care of ourselves!
