Ray News wins 2 Gold Awards at the 2025 Empire State Student Press Association Conference

Season Three of Ray News, which was produced during the 2024-2025 school year, won two Gold Awards at the 2025 Empire State Student Press Association Conference on Tuesday.

Ray News won the Gold Award for Best TV Show and the Gold Award for Best Community Feature for "Cheese Fix."

"We are incredibly honored to be recognized alongside so many talented high school programs from across New York State," said Ray Middle School Media Library Specialist and Ray News Director Justin Ashworth. 

"We can’t wait to bring our viewers brand new stories with the same energy," he said. "Season Four awaits!"
