Baldwinsville senior athletes celebrate college commitments on National Signing Day

The Baldwinsville Central School District hosted a National Letter of Intent Signing Day on Thursday to recognize senior student-athletes as they take the next step in their academic and athletic journeys.

The ceremony was held at C.W. Baker High School, where students signed their letters of intent surrounded by parents, coaches, family members, administrators, teachers and friends. The event celebrates not only athletic achievement, but also the dedication, perseverance and commitment these students have demonstrated throughout their high school careers.

The following Baldwinsville seniors were recognized:

  • Bailey Pietricola – Crew, Villanova University
  • Riley Fitzgerald – Field Hockey, Keuka College
  • Lainey Nesbitt – Tennis, Catholic University
  • Jenna Bookman – Softball, Grove City College
  • Amanda Newcomb – Outdoor Track & Field, SUNY Plattsburgh
  • Kian Scullion – Baseball, Clark University
  • Tyler Hawthorne – Baseball, Herkimer Community College
  • Sydney Neish – Track and Field, St. John Fisher University
  • Kallen Kennedy – Football, SUNY Cortland
  • Oliver Lyman – Lacrosse, Hamilton College
  • Nathan Cali – Men’s Wrestling, Liberty University
District officials commend these student-athletes for their hard work and dedication both in the classroom and in competition. Signing Day marks an exciting milestone as they prepare to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level while pursuing their academic goals. Go Bees!
