Baldwinsville Spirit Wear Program helps students show their Bee pride

Posted Date: 09/17/26 (11:01 AM)

At the beginning of 2026, the Baldwinsville Central School District launched a community spirit wear collection to help ensure students have access to B’ville Bees and school-specific clothing at no cost.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, the collection quickly grew to include a wide variety of gently used shirts, hoodies and other B’ville and school-themed apparel. Recognizing an opportunity to support local families, the District made the clothing available during its School Supply Distribution Day.

Tables filled with complimentary spirit wear gave families the opportunity to browse and select items for their students. The response was overwhelmingly positive, with families expressing appreciation for the opportunity to take home clothing at no cost while helping their children show their school pride.

The District plans to offer the program again this year, with clothing also available throughout the school year upon request. Collection bins are located in each school building for community members who wish to donate gently used B’ville Bees or school-specific spirit wear.

Director of Pupil & Personnel Services Jenna Wolken said the program is another example of the Baldwinsville community coming together to support its students and families.

“This is another way our community helps each other,” Wolken said. “The generosity of our families and community members makes programs like this possible and helps ensure our students have the opportunity to show their B’ville pride.”

The District encourages community members to consider donating gently used B’ville or school-specific spirit wear so it can be passed along to another Bee. Whether worn during spirit days, games, special events or throughout the school year, these items offer students a chance to feel connected to their school community while helping families access clothing at no cost.
