The Baldwinsville Central School District is pleased to announce that the Board of Education approved the appointment of Maggie Estlinbaum as the new assistant principal at C.W. Baker High School earlier this week. Mrs. Estlinbaum’s appointment is scheduled to go into effect on July 1, 2025.
Originally from Newton, Massachusetts, Mrs. Estlinbaum earned her B.A. in Biochemistry from Colorado College in 2000 and her Master of Arts in Teaching from SUNY Cortland in 2006. She taught chemistry at Jordan-Elbridge High School for nine years before joining Liverpool High School in 2016, where she taught chemistry and most recently served as Dean of Students.
Mrs. Estlinbaum recently completed her Certificate of Advanced Study in Educational Leadership at Le Moyne University in December 2024. She brings nearly 20 years of experience in education, with a focus on student support, school culture, and creating inclusive, high-achieving learning environments.
Now living in Marcellus, with her husband and two teenage sons, Mrs. Estlinbaum is excited to join the Baldwinsville community.
“Mrs. Estlinbaum’s experience as an educator and as a leader makes her a wonderful addition to our Baker High School administrative team,” said Superintendent Dr. Joseph M. DeBarbieri. “We look forward to welcoming her into our Hive!”
Mrs. Estlinbaum is replacing Jennifer Terpening who was named the new Baker high school principal. Principal Kris Denton will serve as the district’s new Director of Academic Services, Visual and Performing Arts.
