Dear Parents, Guardians, and Staff,


There is no school for all students tomorrow - Friday, June 6th. I hope everyone enjoys the long weekend! 


The annual Athletic Award Ceremony will be held at 6 p.m. this evening. The event honors varsity student-athletes for their outstanding performances during the 2024-2025 school year. If you can't make it tonight, you can watch the livestream on YouTube. The event also includes the induction ceremony for the Baldwinsville Community Athletic Hall of Fame. Learn more about the inductees on our website. 


I have a few announcements to share with you today:


Pep Band: 


The Bees Pep Band returns to the Main Stage at the Taste of Syracuse from 1:30-2:30 p.m. this Saturday! Go Bees!


Athletic Update:


Congratulations to three members of our Boys Outdoor Track & Field team who qualified for states on Tuesday: London Premo in the Pentathlon, Dom Dottolo in the 1600m and Doug Clark in Pole Vault. The NYSPHSAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships will be held June 13th and 14th at Middletown High School. Go Bees! 


Good luck to all our Bees in postseason action today and this weekend:


  • Members of the Girls Outdoor Track & Field team will compete in the State Qualifier Meet at 4 p.m. Today at Cicero-North Syracuse.

  • Boys Tennis Doubles team Mason Doan & Ethan Haahr qualified for the State Tournament, which will be held beginning on Friday at the U.S. Open in Flushing.


The Elementary Track and Field meet will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Pelcher-Arcaro Stadium. Have fun! 


CTE National Signing Day


The OCM BOCES Career and Technical Education/Skills USA National Signing Day was held this morning.

Friends, family and staff gathered as students signed letters of intent with area employers. The National Signing Day ceremony honors students pursuing careers in skilled trades and technical fields, underscoring the value of hands-on training and workforce readiness.

Poster Contest Winner: 


Congratulations to 8th grader Sophia Andersen for winning the poster contest for Language Educators of Central New York. The theme was “Languages Take You Places” and Sophia incorporated numerous translations for “hello” in her beautiful poster! Sophia is a student in Debbie Duger’s Spanish 1 class at Durgee Junior High School. Congratulations, Sophia!


Calendar Reminders:

  • Athletic Hall of Fame Induction and Athletic Awards will be held at 6 p.m. this evening in the auditorium at C.W. Baker High School.

  • There is no school for all students on Friday, June 6th.

  • Baker High Scholarship Awards Ceremony will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11th in the auditorium at C.W. Baker High School.

  • Monday, June 16th is the last day of classes for Durgee Junior High School and C.W. Baker High School students.

  • Durgee and Baker Students will follow the Regents examination schedule beginning on Tuesday, June 17th.

  • There is no school for all students and district offices are closed on Thursday, June 19th in observance of Juneteenth.

  • The Class of 2025 Graduation will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 21st at the Expo Center at the New York State fairgrounds.

  • Thursday, June 26th is the last day of classes for pre-kindergarten to 7th grade students. It is a half day.

  • The schedule for the end of the school year is posted on our website.
