Information on Proposed 2017-18 Budget

The District budget vote and school board elections will be held on Tuesday, May 16, from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Baker High School small gym. Voters will decide on a $104,691,624 spending plan for the 2017-2018 school year. To be eligible to vote you must be 18 years of age or older, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of the District for 30 days prior to the vote.

Absentee ballots can be obtained by calling the District office at 315-638-6055, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Community members have been mailed a budget newsletter to provide more detailed information on the budget. The newsletter also provides information on the candidates running for three open seats on the Board of Education. You can read it HERE.

The public budget hearing will be held on Tuesday, May 9 in the Durgee Junior High School cafeteria. The evening begins at 6:30 p.m. with a Meet the Board Candidates session, followed by the hearing at 7:00 p.m.
