Children's Author, Tom Watson, Visits Palmer: Thanks to the Palmer PTA for bringing children's author, Tom Watson to visit the students at Palmer.   His visit included talking with kids about the Stick Dog and Stick Cat books and teaching them how to draw all the characters. more >>
PARP - Reading Train: Palmer students and staff celebrated PARP with a school wide Reading Train!  PARP is a PTA sponsored program that asks a partner (parent, grandparent, babysitter, older sibling, cousin, friend, etc.) to read with a child for at least 15 minutes daily, stressing the fact that reading can be fun as well as informative. #PalmerGivesBack: The holiday season is upon us!  As we strive to continue to focus on #OtherPeopleMatter this school year, we are starting our first Hashtag Campaign with a focus on Gratitude!  We will be running the campaign from November 17th until December 15th.  This is a great way to showcase the strengths of the Palmer community and all that we have learned through the Positivity Project! Palmer Running Club News!: The Palmer Running Club is open to all students in 4th and 5th grade.  The club meets in the fall and the spring, every Monday and Wednesday from 8:00-8:30. It  provides a happy, healthy, and enthusiastic atmosphere to run and socialize with other classmates while also promoting a healthy lifestyle. Students also use the RC to train for the Baldwinsville district-wide Cross Country meet in the fall and the Track and Field meet in the spring.    ... more >>
