"LOL" - Love Our Lives Drive: Led by third grader, Noah Pendergast, Miss Klymkow's class put together more than 200 waiting room kits on Friday, February 3rd for children who visit Golisano Children's Hospital in Syracuse. Noah took the initiative and collected supplies for his "LOL" or Love Our Lives drive in honor of his earliest friend, Griffin Engle, who passed away from brain cancer. New Tip Line to Anonymously Report Bullying & Other Situations: It is important to know that the District’s staff works to make our schools safe and caring places. Geography Bee: Geography Bee -Twelve Palmer 4th and 5th graders participated in the National Geographic Bee on Friday, January 27th. Winner, Julian Biondi, answered all seven oral questions correctly. Four additional students achieved a score of 5 out of 7 correct responses. Congratulations to all of our participants!     more >>
One School, One Book: Palmer Elementary is participating in the One School, One Book program during the 2017 PARP (Pick a Reading Partner) season. Guest readers have been keeping our students current on their reading, and the PTA has generously provided a book, prizes and activities for our Palmer penguins to enjoy. The annual Reading Reunion will take place on Friday 2/3, and our Dress Like a Character will follow on Thursday 2/9.
