Baker's Robotics Club Receives Sponsorship from U.S. Army

The  United States Army has awarded the Baker High School robotics club a $2,500 sponsorship to aid in covering the cost of participating in the VEX World Championship, to be held in Kentucky in April. Baker High School’s B.E.E.S. robotics team won a spot at the world championship when the team was named the Northern New York State Champion in the Northern New York State VEX Robotics Competition held at the SRC Arena in February. Hundreds of robotics teams from around the world will participate in the world competition this spring.

This is the second sponsorship that the club has received from the U.S. Army this school year. In the fall, the U.S. Army awarded the club a $2,500 sponsorship that the club used to pay for costs associated with participating in and hosting VEX Robotics competitions.

This will be the first time that Baker High School will be represented in the VEX World Championships. GO BEES!!!
