Garden Club at Baker

The Baker High School Garden Club recently harvested its first sustainable garden, which the club planted in the spring. Students grew a variety of vegetables including tomatoes and zucchini. With the help of Steve Rosenberger, Director of Facilities, students prepared the garden site and learned planting and irrigation techniques. The club is researching several innovative ideas for possible implementation with next year’s garden. Students are planning to expand the size of the garden next year due to the success of this year’s smaller garden.
