NYS Senate You Leadership Award Recipient

On Friday, June 7th, 2019 Aidan Priest was presented with the prestigious NYS Senate Youth Leadership Award by Senator Robert Antonacci. This award recognizes and honors students that are outstanding students as well as student leaders that make significant contributions to the school community. Aidan received this award for his leadership and diligence in organizing the Culture Festival.

Being a participant in Community Wide Dialogue and interacting with student from Corcoran High School was the impetus for Aidan to organize a Culture Festival. The goal of the Culture Festival was to reconize and celebrate the all students that attend C.W. Baker High School by showcasing their cultural heritage. Over 30 contries were recognized at the Culture Festival.
