KBR Donations

Dear Class of 2020 Parents,

What a crazy year 2020 has shaped up to be.  I don’t think any of us would have anticipated the events that have brought us here.  While the global crisis has put many things on hold – the PTSA is continuing to plan events to celebrate the Senior class.  Senior Ball and KBR are scheduled for Saturday, June 13th.  At this writing, this celebration has not been rescheduled.  Should it be rescheduled, the PTSA is committed to making sure KBR (Keep the Ball Rolling) happens for our seniors at a later date.

For anyone who isn’t familiar with the KBR (Keep the Ball Rolling) event, this is an incredible night that our students absolutely love!  It takes place back at the high school right after the Senior Ball on June 13th.  The students have a safe and fun place to spend some time after the ball with their friends.  The KBR event is filled with food, games, music and raffles.  

Here’s where YOU can help…

We are looking for any kind of cash donation or prize that we can raffle off throughout the night.  The kids LOVE seeing all of the great prizes that they can win, just by simply attending.  Last year we gave away over 300 raffle prizes (minimum value $25), thirteen larger items and one grand prize (donated by Burdick Toyota) - a CAR! 

Please consider making whatever donation your family is able to afford. We can turn anything into a prize.  If you’d like to donate a $5 item, we can put it together with other items to make a gift basket.  If you can afford $25 consider a gift certificate to stores, the mall or restaurants.  If you’d like to donate cash, think $20.20 – to commemorate the year of their graduation.  If you would like to donate a tangible prize, think dorm accessories, electronics, or ask your student what they would want to win (if your child wants to win it, another student most likely would too). Anything and everything is greatly appreciated!

Interested in helping out that night?  Let us know!  We need many volunteers to make this night the huge success that it is.  Please consider volunteering.  Grab a friend or your spouse and join us that night.

Donation forms can be found under the Baker PTSA page on the Baldwinsville website. PRINT, FILL OUT AND MAIL the form to Baker High School PTSA, 29 E. Oneida Street, Baldwinsville, NY  13027 OR simply place the form in an envelope marked PTSA and drop it off at Baker HS right inside the main door on Monday – Wednesday – Friday between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM.
