District to offer COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic

The Baldwinsville Central School District is again partnering with Wegmans to offer a vaccine clinic on Thursday, February 10th from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at Durgee Junior High School.

Registration has opened for any staff members or students enrolled in the Baldwinsville CSD interested in a BOOSTER dose. No registration is needed for individuals receiving their second dose following the clinic held on January 20th.

For those registering for a BOOSTER dose, please visit this LINK to book an appointment. Pfizer, Moderna, and J&J will be available. If registering, please consider:

  • Moderna and Pfizer: It should be at least 5 months since the date of your 2nd dose in order to get the booster
  • J&J: It should be at least 2 months since your 1st vaccine in order to get the booster
  • Pfizer boosters are only available for ages 12 and up. Moderna boosters are for 18 and over

When registering, be sure to select the type of vaccine, enter February 10, 2022 as the clinic date, and enter 13027 as the zip code. You will then book your appointment for the clinic at Durgee Junior High School.

Those receiving their second dose in follow up to the clinic held on January 20th do not need to register for an appointment. These individuals can attend between 4:30-6:30 p.m. as arranged with Wegmans during the first clinic.

All participants will need to print and complete a consent form on the day of the clinic. Bring the consent form with you to the appointment. You do NOT need to bring a birth certificate. If you are unable to secure an appointment at our in-district clinic, you can also find an appointment at a local pharmacy, county clinic, or the NYS Fairgrounds using the online COVID-19 vaccine finder.

Does a parent/guardian have to be present for a student?

Yes. A parent or legal guardian must accompany the student.

Will I need to sign up for a specific time?

Yes. Please try to arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled time.

If I’m scheduling multiple appointments for members of my family but can’t schedule them at the same time or back to back, can we all come together?

Yes. Please try to arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled time with anyone you have registered for an appointment, even if it’s not at the appointment time.

Can my child bring something comforting like a stuffed animal with them?

Yes, of course!

What will happen when I arrive?

You will check in at registration, receive the vaccine, and then you must wait 15 minutes before you can leave. If the individual receiving the vaccine has any allergies that require an EpiPen, you will have to wait for 30 minutes after the injection.

Will I receive proof that my child has been vaccinated?

You will receive a card showing your child has been given the vaccination. Keep this card in good condition and do not lose it. If you can, take a picture of the card for safe keeping.
