Acting Superintendent's announcements for November 4, 2022

November 4, 2022

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Next week is the final week of our first marking period and I’m extremely proud of our students for their hard work, dedication and creativity. If you’ve had the opportunity to visit any of our schools you will see how much our students have achieved already this school year. The hallways are lined with artwork and accomplishments. Keep up the good work and let’s finish the first marking period strong!

I have a few announcements to share with you today:

Go Home Early Drill:

The District will be having its annual "Go Home Early" Drill on Tuesday, November 22, 2022.  All schools will be dismissed 15 minutes early to conduct the mandatory safety drill.

The Lion King Jr.:

The Baldwinsville Theater Arts Program’s production of “The Lion King Jr.” will be held in our C.W. Baker High School auditorium in just two weeks. Tickets are on sale now for $10 at www.bvilletheater.com. There will be three shows: November 18th at 7 p.m., November 19th at 1 p.m. and November 19th at 7 p.m. Check out our social media pages for a sneak peek from rehearsal.

2022 Holiday Greeting Card Contest:

The District Office for the Baldwinsville Central School District is seeking a design for our 2022 digital holiday greeting card and we need your help. We are calling all BCSD elementary school students to submit the cover art for our 2022 holiday card. Learn more on our website.
