Dear Parents, Guardians and Staff, 

The start of the school year is less than a month away and I wanted to check in with you. I hope you’re enjoying your summer!  

Our staff has been busy working this summer to prepare for students to return and we’re looking forward to the first day of school on Wednesday, September 6, 2023.

Please be on the lookout for important updates via email from your child’s school and from myself as we prepare for opening day. On Monday, families received an email notification to join ParentSquare, the district's new communication platform. Please follow the directions in the email to activate your account as this will be how families receive district messages beginning with the new school year. 

We will be sending out more emails and posting important information on our website, www.bville.org, over the coming weeks. 

The 2023-2024 bus information, class lists, schedules, and teacher assignments for students will be available in the Parent Portal on Friday, August 25th. For help using Parent Portal, visit our User Guide.

Our transportation staff asks for your assistance submitting various transportation forms which must be updated annually as soon as possible. These forms include the daycare and authorization to release forms. Please keep in mind that there will be no updates to transportation routes during the first week of school between September 6th through September 8th to ensure the safety of our students.   

Later this month you will also be receiving the district calendar and the Hive newsletter in the mail. Please take the time to review the Hive because it contains several important forms for the 2023-2024 school year.
