Additional Safety Measures for Tuesday, August 15th

Dear Parents, Guardians and Staff, 

The Baldwinsville Police Department and the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office continue to investigate the potential threats made on August 14, 2023. 

Out of an abundance of caution, all Baldwinsville Central School District buildings will be operating with additional security measures in place tomorrow, Tuesday, August 15, 2023. 

All building access will be limited to a single point of entry. Additional police presence will be made available at Durgee Jr. High School and Ray Middle School where students are attending our Extended School Year Program and the OCM BOCES Regional Summer School. Building operations inside each of our school buildings will take place as scheduled. 

As an additional precautionary measure, all athletic and co-curricular activities/events scheduled to be held on school grounds or facilities will be canceled tomorrow, Tuesday, August 15, 2023.
