Board of Education seeks applicants for vacant board seats

Due to the resignations of Mrs. Shelly Bligh Goeckel and Mrs. Tanya Rosado-Barringer, there are two vacancies on the Baldwinsville Central School District Board of Education

Baldwinsville Central School District residents wishing to serve on the Board of Education are invited to submit a letter of interest and resume (or similar document) to the attention of Kim Vile, Clerk of the District, Baldwinsville Central School District, 29 East Oneida Street, Baldwinsville, NY 13027 or by email to kvile@bville.org by Monday, December 18, 2023 by 4:00 p.m.

In order to be a school board member, an individual must be a citizen of the United States, at least eighteen years of age or older, and a resident of the District for at least one year. 

The term for these Board of Education positions will expire on May 21, 2024, the date of the annual school board elections. If the person appointed to the vacancy wishes to continue in the position, he or she will need to run in the annual school board elections on May 21, 2024. The Board of Education will review the letters of interest and resumes and follow up with interested candidates at a date to be determined.
