2017/2018 Employment Opportunities:
Building Maintenance Mechanic/HVAC Technician – needed to perform all aspects of commercial building maintenance tasks with strong emphasis on boiler & HVAC equipment and systems. HVACR certification desired but not necessary. In addition, successful candidate must be self-motivated with the ability to perform and coordinate skilled general building maintenance and repair work with knowledge in several building and mechanical trade areas. Hours of work are 1 pm to 9 pm. Appropriate education and five years full-time paid work experience in skilled boiler/HVAC, carpentry or one of the major trade areas. Substitute School Bus Driver:
Free, comprehensive training is provided to obtain CDL and qualify for employment . Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and possess a clean, valid driver’s license. CDL preferred, but not required. Applicants must be available to work 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. in order to be considered. Complete on-line application via OLAS information above.
Teaching Assistant Full Time Employment Opportunities 2017/2018 School Year
The District anticipates additional placements for Teaching Assistants throughout the 2017/2018 School Year. You MUST hold a valid Teaching Assistant certificate from New York State Education Department OR a valid Teaching certificate. Annual Salary $19,380.00 plus health / dental / retirement plan benefits. Substitute Teaching and Home Instructors -
Home Instructors - Assignments are temporary and required for students unable to attend school because of a short-term disability or discipline. Valid NYS teaching certificated individuals required. Elementary school students on home bound instruction must receive at least 5 hours of instruction per week; secondary school students 10 hours per week. To the extent possible, homebound instruction should be staggered proportionately throughout the week. Rate of pay is $43.75 per hour. Please complete our required OLAS online employment application.
