District will provide free meals to all enrolled students for the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year


Baldwinsville Central School District’s Food Service Department is making sure all students have access to free, healthy meals while the COVID-19 pandemic continues to create challenges for many families.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has extended flexibilities it granted to school meal programs to provide free breakfast and lunch for all children 18 and younger – whether learning in-person or remote – through the end of the school year. Enrolled students in the Baldwinsville Central School District can now receive breakfast and lunch at no cost.

Meals are free for all Baldwinsville students on the days they are receiving in-person instruction. Families can pick up meals for when their children are learning remotely. Families can pick up meals for their enrolled students on the last day of in-school instruction. See our online calendar for dates of meal pickupPickup will be located at Baker High School from 4 until 5:30 p.m. on those days. Meals are available for 100% remote learners on the last day of in-school instruction for each cohort. All enrolled students are eligible for a free breakfast and lunch meal every school day, regardless of family income.
