Baker Seniors Named Commended Students

Four Baker High School seniors have been named Commended Students in the 2019 National Merit Scholarship Competition. Lauren Lammers, Ryan Micho, David Teska, and Margaret Wiegand are being recognized for exceptional academic promise. They placed among the top 50,000 scorers in the nation on the 2017 PSAT. More than 1.6 million students took the test.

Baker Student Attends Congress of Future Medical Leaders

Hannah Eastwood, a senior at Baker High School, represented the school at the Congress of Future Medical Leaders in Boston, Massachusetts in June 2018. Principal Donald Root recently presented her with an Award of Excellence from the Congress in recognition of her achievement. While in Boston, she was mentored and taught by prominent medical leaders.
