District Announces its Superintendent Selection

The Baldwinsville Central School District is pleased to announce that a contract for Superintendent of Baldwinsville Central Schools has been offered, accepted, and approved by the Baldwinsville Central School District Board of Education to Jason D. Thomson.
 
Mr. Thomson’s most recent position was in Ichabod Crane Central School District in Kinderhook, N.Y. Prior to that position, Mr. Thomson served as the Superintendent of Schools for Delaware Academy Central School District in Delhi, NY. 
 
Following a national and state search there were 21 applicants for the position. The board interviewed nine candidates for the position, narrowing to two before selecting Jason D. Thomson who will assume the duties of superintendent beginning August 17, 2021.
