Baldwinsville PTAs to Present Compelling Movie on Teens & Tech - April 30 Baldwinsville PTAs to Present Compelling Movie on Teens & Tech - April 30: The PTAs and PTSAs of the Baldwinsville Central School District are cosponsoring a viewing of the movie, “Screenagers” on April 30, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in the Baker High School auditorium. Important NYS Testing Information Important NYS Testing Information: In April and May, the New York State Grades 3-8 English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics Tests will be administered to students. Last year, the number of test sessions for these annual assessments was reduced from three to two; that change remains in effect this year. This means that students will take each subject test over only two testing days instead of three as in past years. Additionally, the 2019 Grades 3-8 ELA and Math Tests will continue to be untimed. May Flex Day is Now a School Day May Flex Day is Now a School Day: Because of the snow day on Feb. 12, the flex day scheduled for Tuesday, May 28, will now be a day of school. The district has used all of its snow days for the 2018-19 school year. more >>
Service Dog Awarded Congressional Certificate of Recognition Service Dog Awarded Congressional Certificate of Recognition: As part of its monthly Positivity Project Assembly, McNamara Elementary School celebrated the International Day of Acceptance on January 25, 2019 to promote an awareness of and respect for people of all abilities.   During the assembly, student Gregory Myers gave a presentation on service dogs, and he introduced the school to his service dog, Prudence.
