Fourth-Graders Step Back in Time at Colonial Festival Fourth-Graders Step Back in Time at Colonial Festival: Baldwinsville fourth-graders got a peek at what colonial life was like for children their age in New York State at the school district’s annual Colonial Festival on May 30 & 31. Students took a step back in time when they rotated through hands-on activities, including butter making, candle dipping, and quilting to experience typical colonial tasks. Service Dog Awarded Congressional Certificate of Recognition Service Dog Awarded Congressional Certificate of Recognition: As part of its monthly Positivity Project Assembly, McNamara Elementary School celebrated the International Day of Acceptance on January 25, 2019 to promote an awareness of and respect for people of all abilities.   During the assembly, student Gregory Myers gave a presentation on service dogs, and he introduced the school to his service dog, Prudence.
