Opt-In for School Messenger Text Messages

The District uses the School Messenger Notification System to send important notifications, as well as emergency messages such as school closings, to parents, guardians and staff. Messages are sent automatically via email and/or telephone. You can also opt-in to receive these notifications as text messages.

If the District has your cell phone number in your child's school database, it is easy to opt-in. Just text the word YES to 68453 from your cell phone. You should receive an opt-in confirmation message. 

If your child's school does not have your cell phone number, please call your child's school and provide them with your current cell phone number. This update will be effective within 24 hours, after which you can text the word YES to 68453 from your cell phone. 

Please note that the District does not pay for text message charges that may be incurred by you for sending or receiving messages. Check with your wireless carrier for possible charges.
