Acting Superintendent's announcements for February 17, 2023

February 17, 2023

Dear Parents, Guardians and Staff:

I am wishing all of you a restful vacation February 20–24 for winter recess. We have a great deal to celebrate with student successes this past week!

Calendar reminders:

  • There is no school for students and staff on Monday, February 20th for President’s Day. District Offices are closed.

  • There is no school for February Break from Tuesday, February 21st to Friday, February 24th.

  • Students return to school on Monday, February 27th.

ThoughtExchange:

We need your input on "How do the terms BUILD, EDUCATE, and EMPOWER connect to your vision for the Baldwinsville Central School District in the years to come?" To gather your feedback, we're using a tool called ThoughtExchange. All of our voices matter, so your participation is crucial and valued.

You'll be asked to respond to one open-ended question, consider and assign stars to some of the ideas shared by others (20 to 30 is ideal), and learn what's important to the group.

Your thoughts and stars are confidential. You can come back as often as you'd like to participate and, in fact, we ask that you do come back to star some of the new ideas shared since you first participated. The ratings will help us understand the most important areas to focus on our strategic plan work.

Thank you in advance for your help and input.
