Announcements for Friday, June 2, 2023

June 2, 2023

Dear Parents, Guardians and Staff:

Happy June! It’s hard to believe that in just three weeks the Class of 2023 will be graduating. June is a busy month packed with deadlines, final exams, field trips, celebrations and bittersweet goodbyes! We’re looking forward to making memories with everyone and finishing the school year strong!

This afternoon the Class of 2023 received a powerful reminder on the dangers of drinking and driving. A mock DWI event was held in front of the high school. The goal of this annual event is to give students an eye-opening experience on the consequences of driving impaired, especially ahead of the Senior Ball, which will be held next weekend on June 10th at the Marriott Syracuse Downtown. We want our students to understand that one bad decision can destroy so many lives. We hope this event is impactful for our students and that they have a safe and enjoyable Senior Ball and graduation celebration. Thank you to all the first responders who made this event possible.

We have a couple announcements to share with you today:
