Soccer Players Named to
All-America Teams

For the second consecutive year, Baldwinsville has had a male and a female soccer player named to the All-America soccer teams. Nate Hanna and Kelsey Delola have been honored by the United Soccer Coaches this year for their achievements.

In addition, Hanna and his teammate Joshua Price were named to the 2018 United Soccer Coaches Fall Boys High School All-East Region Team, and Delola was named to the All-East girls team.


Congratulations to Our Scholar Athlete Teams

Congratulations to our varsity fall teams that qualified for the NYSPHSAA Scholar Athlete Team Award. To qualify, 75% of the team's roster must have a GPA of 90% or higher. The following teams have qualified:

Girls Soccer: 96.61 GPA 
Girls Tennis: 96.50 GPA 
Girls Cross Country: 95.70 GPA
Girls Volleyball: 95.42 GPA 
Girls Field Hockey: 95.20 GPA
Boys Cross Country: 94.70 GPA
Girls Gymnastics: 94.01 GPA
Girls Swimming: 93.94 GPA
Boys Golf: 93.50 GPA
Boys Soccer: 93.00 GPA
Boys Volleyball: 92.40 GPA
Cheerleading: 90.11 GPA

Board of Education Update

December 3, 2018 Meeting

The Board of Education honored the fall teams and athletes who participated in state competition - boys varsity soccer, girls varsity volleyball and Justus Holden-Betts, girls varsity cross country.

The leadership report for the meeting included an update on K-12 curriculum and instruction, a presentation on the McKinney Vento Act, which protects the educational rights of students in temporary housing, and a review of the number of absences at each school for the first quarter of the school year.

The Board had a first reading of a trip request for Durgee Jr. High School art students to travel and experience art in New York City in May 2019.

The Board approved a trip request for the Boys Varsity Baseball Team to travel and participate in the High School Baseball Spring Training at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Florida in April 2019.

The Board approved the awarding of a contract for General Construction to Ruston Paving Co. Inc. The Board also approved  a new three-year service contract with OCM BOCES for technology leases.

Annual Fire Inspection is Complete

The annual inspection for 2018-2019 of the buildings of the Baldwinsville Central School District for fire hazards which might endanger the lives of students, teachers, employees therein, has been completed and the report thereof is available at the facilities office at 29 East Oneida Street for inspection by all interested persons during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday - Friday.





The Elden Elementary School Grades 4&5 chorus performed at the Syracuse Home on December 7 to spread holiday cheer.
