Ray Jazz Groups Receive Top Honors at Darien Lake
On Friday, May 10, the Ray Middle School jazz ensembles earned top honors at the 2019 Darien Lake Music Festival. The Ray Riffers (vocal jazz), Bee Sharps (jazz strings), and Katz Pajamaz (jazz band) all earned the top honor of Outstanding with Distinction Award. Ray Middle School was also honored with the Sweepstakes Award for having a jazz band, orchestra, and chorus all participating in the festival. The festival caps off a year of stellar performances by the middle school students. Congratulations!
